DJ mix for Reboot Record Label
What mood were you in when you recorded it?
I’m usually in a good mood when I record guest mixes. I love recording guest mixes in general and enjoy it as an hour of disconnecting and showcasing new music.
Did you have any particular intention or story in mind when putting together the selection?
I always try to adapt a little to the label’s sound, without losing my essence, and based on that I make a pre-selection of tracks. Then, I always go with the flow of the mix a little.
Is there a track in this mix that particularly represents your sound identity?
I think my identity is a bit of a mix, always in line with house but jumping around a bit. If I had to choose, I’d say my track “No Deepya [Endless]” and the edit of Corazon de Melon Salsoul Orchestra’s “Ooh, I Love It” represent it well.
Berlin and his career

What do you think sets Berlin apart from other cities?
People are very well educated musically. They generally go for the music and not for the headliner. Of course, the fact that there are no phones on the dance floor creates a unique experience that is incomparable to other places.
How has Berlin influenced your development as a DJ and producer?
With so much talent and such a diverse sound in the city, and so many people motivated to learn, it really helps and pushes you to keep learning and training as a professional.
Which local artists or collectives inspire you at the moment?
I think that nowadays collectives are what bring the Berlin scene to life, so you have to be very careful and professional in how you work and promote your art and that of other artists. I’m lucky to have many friends in collectives with whom I’ve played and collaborated, such as Small Great Things, Aterral, Diskolusion, Section 8, Birdhouse, and Zapped.
Anxiety Therapy

How does the concept of Anxiety Therapy connect with your own personal history?
About five years ago, I started having panic attacks and severe anxiety, and forming Anxiety Therapy around my stage name helped me channel a lot of the anxiety I had (and still have, but in a more harmonious way LOL), transforming it into something positive and hopeful. I also feel that it helps to give shape to a feeling, so that I can leave it on the track, or express it in a track.
What kind of sound are you looking to highlight from the label?
I think deep house with an overview of the label could work, but on the more ‘upbeat’ side, so to speak, with elements of jazz, classic house, and always a characteristic dance floor groove.
Vision and Future
What motivates you most as an artist right now?
I think DJing in front of a good crowd, which is the case 80% of the time in Berlin and in some other cities I’ve played in, is always incredibly motivating and an unbeatable feeling. Also, being able to improve my music as a producer motivates me to keep going and stay on this path.
Is there a dream or goal that you still have pending?
I’d like to play at the Fusion Festival and be able to tour Argentina.
How do you see house music evolving in the coming years?
I’m noticing that many traditional house or disco artists are shifting their sound toward more minimalist styles. In any case, I feel that house music always comes and goes, but in a positive way. It doesn’t fit into trends (and I hope it never does), it’s always there. It’s true that it has become a little more popular, but with so many branches, it’s impossible to pigeonhole it into one place. I think that at times there is a tendency to unnecessarily play house at exaggerated bpms, but at the end of the day it always goes back to its roots.
What’s next for you and the label in 2025?
If I knew, HAHAHA. There are some boat parties and open-air events coming up for the summer, and a few other surprises that I can’t reveal yet. Berlin can always be a bit spontaneous, so I aim to continue growing as a label.
